I'm looking to buy a Suspension techniques rear sway bar for my 2G Eclipse. Does anyone has experience with it? Will it fit well with my 3" Thermal cat-back?

Thanks!

NO. That simple. It will not fit with anything but a stock exhaust. I've tried every exhaust I can find (except the Thermal, sorry) and they all try to occupy the same space that used to be blank. All the companies figure that big blank spot must be available and all try to route their equipment through the passage near the exhaust. RMDSM is the only rear bar that will fit with a 3" exhaust.

RocketDSM:

Do you actually have the RMDSM rear sway bar? If fo, what is your experience with it?
Does it fit well?
How did the handling characteristics of your car change?

i have the RMDSM sway bars on my car signal.. the car is definitely tighter around corners.. I was suprised at the diff when I installed the bars and realized that my weakness is really my tires now.. btw I have Apexi 3" N1 and it does work with that.. the RM bar that is..

No I don't have the RM bar. Things keep breaking so the money is never there to spend on it. I DID buy the Susp Tech set and it wouldn't fit on any of the five eclipse's I've had access to, all with different cat-back exhausts.

97 GS-T - Tanabe G-Medallion
95 GS-X - Apex'i N1
97 GS-T - HKS Hiper
98 GS-T - Custom (could've rebent pipes to make it work though)
95 GS-T - Tanabe (don't remember the model type)

I currently run the Susp Tech front bar and factory rear. I vary the front from middle to soft setting depending on weather and what type of driving I'm doing. Once I get the RM rear bar (or maybe the set) I'll have to figure out what settings work how again.

Exactly, the RMDSM bar will fit with a 3" exhaust. The Susp Tech won't. Main thing is that RMDSM designs parts for their own personal cars so they engineer them around the common bolt ons. A regular company engineer's everything to fit on a stock car. At least that's the way it was explained to me.
