lookin for 9s country, Nevada
i heard this is a popular setup but no specifics relevant to my question. need to know asap. thanks.

NO!

Don't do it. The 2g disk is thicker than the ACT disc, and I have seen many people have disengagement problems form running a 2g disc.

2g discs aren't any cheaper than ACT discs anyway....
