I'm in the process of sourcing parts to replace both front axles in my 1g GSX. My question is when either a new or remanufactured left front axle includes the intermediate shaft as well? I was plannin on replacing the intermediate shaft bearing in the process but If I can get a complete unit from the tranny to the wheel, I would rather do that. Is it safe to assume that if a vendor lists a left fron driveaxle for an AWD it is the whole unit? Thanks.

Your best bet would be to contact the vendor. If you express an interest in their merch. then they will oblige with answers.

Does anyone have any actual experience with this? Please chime in if you have replaced your left front axle on an AWD and if it came with the intermediate shaft as well.

Thanks.

no if your buying from a place like autozone or advanced auto they do not come with an intermediat shaft. its just the axel that slides in to it. i just replaced both front axels i got them from a company named powerline and they look nice looks like all cnc machened i spent a lil over 220$ for them both with a lifetime warenty cant realy beat that. theres also a core charge with most places mine would have been about 50$ less if i would have had a core to exchange . i also wanted to replace my inter. shaft but couldnt find a place to order one for me. ###### a dealer only part and that means $$$$$$$$ good luck
