Its not a specil super ugraded ECU, I think its out of a 90 Laser 4G63 N/T. I am just getting it to replace mine that is bad.

aaah I see... I misunderstood OMG ater you just workin on replacing broken parts? or have you started doing any mods yet?

Other than the cd player its 100 percent stock.

Some guy's I autocross with use those KYB shocks. One has a ACR neon that is a blast and handles great with the Falkin Azenes<sp you know what im talking about>. He lets me drive it on the fun runs.

I cant freaking wait till i get it back on the road, I just love driving a 5speed, Ill just park the saturn and use it for road trips and realy hot days, good AC.

I need to sell my Lincoln to make some extra cash.

best thing to do with the lincoln is part it out, and sell the parts....make more loot that way, and you can always learn something new everytime you take somethin apart:thumb:

My Galant GSX is super heavy. Not really fast at all but real fun.

Im still in the toss up between going turbo, or try to get as much power as i can with out going forced induction. I dont Drag race i mostly autocross.

speaking of shocks My Galant does not have the air shock option. thank god. It has a stiff ride as of now but has some major wheel gap going on.

well theoretically you should be able to use the catback exhaust from a galant vr4 and at least some of a 1g nt's header if not all of it. of course the two wouldn't probably reach eachother, but some custom muffler shop work could fix that in a hurry.

other than internal engine parts (all the same as a 1gnt's) anything else would be either a vr4 part or a custom made job.

IT RUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a ECU out of a 1990 laser and swaped the ecu cases becouse they bolt up differnt ways.

My ECU was MD153303 and The replacement was MD1622525? I cant remember, But i put in in and it fired right up.

I thought it wasnt going to work becouse the ECU's looked differnt when i opened up the case. My ecu had more traces and 1 more little card that stands on its side and the one out of the laser.

Im gonna go get the plates swaped and insurance back one and hit the road tomarrow!

IT RUNS!!!!!!!!!!

The 90 Laser ECU works in my Galant.

Ive think ive got some cloged up injector becouse it feels like its missing in 4th and 5th gear slowly accelerating But pulls pretty good in 1st,2nd and3rd.

Ive got some bugs to work out so hopefully Ill get my datalogger soon and get it running smooth.

Datalogger should have allready been here.

If this turns into flaming...lock.
If people come from other boards to flame...lock.

This post is just asking for trouble.

I have no problem with that. I figured people would enjoy the mis-information.

wow...just....wow. It amazes me how some people just wont give up an internet arguement because of some sort of factory information they have lyin around.

from the factory..... the shirts our company store has only has the logo and the name of the company but we put our business units name on it

?????? I guess I am lost here. Wouldn't a GSX and a VR4 be the same thing? I am not asking to be belittled here, but I don't understand the difference betwen the two cars. I have never even seen a Galant GSX...

The GSX is a N/T AWD Galant. The VR-4 is a Turbo AWD Galant.
