Has any one ever attempt to fit a 10" bass tube in their 1g DSM. Is the sound any decent. I am attempting to build a system on limited funds and need opinions. Thanks

No, Stay away from the tubes. Argh, they are nothing but a big fat steaming pile of SUCK! Get the Triangle sub in the triangle enclosure and feed it 200 Watts of good clean (Like ///Alpine) power. I had one of the tubes in my 300zx and it was awful. If you were outside of the car the bass was nice and full, but when people would ask to see the system I'd tell them the hatch lock was broken. I was ashamed because the tube pops and flutters too much when the back was open.

I saw one of these triangle subs running off a 200w Alpine amp in the back of a dude's Jeep Liberty (An installer at Circuit City), with the same Alpine head I'm running, and it was hitting just as hard and deep as my dual 10w3's...with my 1000w amp. It was scary, but it looks like SAS found a winner with this new triangle design. The tubes are paper dome cones with lousy surrounds and thin voice coils.
