i bought a 95 gsx with a rebuilt engine still on break in miles. After the easy miles were gone i started noticing that i was gettin 10-15 miles to the gal. I have 550's and a 255fp with no s-afc so i know i am running rich and i get a lot of black smoke. i tried reading the o2 voltage but it doesnt seem right. i tried boostin more to see a difference in power but at 15 psi it didnt really change much. i lined up with my friends non-turbo stock talon and only beat him by maybe 2 car lengths ast 90 mph.Could this just be the s-afc, what about a clogged cat? sorry for long post but ive done research and never found what i was lookin for.

i would say get a s-afc and a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, unless you have a aftermarket fpr then you are over running the stock one.

i am almost certain that is your problem. i put in 550's and didn't tune my afc for about a week and the car was running sluggish and horrible. i went out and done some simple runs to log it and with a pretty fast tuneing it felt like a new car.

thanks for the help, although im not sure why i should kick myself in the nuts thats just how i bought the car. And i am new to the dsm world, i sold my honda to get one so i am a newbie. I talked to people that run similiar setups but i guess all cars run different. So i definetly need a fpr too?
