So I bought this 20g that needs rebuilt but the tip on the cover was cut off to run a fmic easier. Well I bought a hrc intercooler with both inlets on the drivers side. So I'm not sure if this cover will work now or if it's salvageable? I got a good deal on it but Damn I need a new wheel too so now I'm having my doubts.

Thats a terrible weld on that compressor. This cover is going to be going toward the passenger side (opposite of what you want) You can run a 180 bend to shoot it the other way or probably the better option have someone cut that 90 off flip it around and weld it back one.

Yea that shouldnt be to big of a deal. and probably the cleanest option. You could clean it up and make it look nicer also. I would cut it off and wait till you run the pipes to make sure you get the angle right. You may want it a little forward or back to make the pipes fit better.
