i'm doing a 7 bolt to 6 bolt swap and i'm running into a problem here , on the bottom of my 7 bolt oilfolter bracket i have a sending unit and there isn't one on the 6 bolt bracket and of course these aren't interchangeable between the 2 .a few questions .what is this sending unit? its the one on the bottom not the one on the side. what do i do to solve this problem? any help will be appericiated

If it is the little piece of metal which hangs from the bottom of the oil filter housing, than it is used to send out how much pressure your oil is at to your guage and it can be taken off and used with the 6-bolt bracket.

but there was no hole for it anywhere 1 sending unit on the 6 bolt and 2 on the 7 bolt , i just drilled and tapped a hole for it should work...

thanks
