Engine Preformance Questions????

ok i know the engine modding world is pretty expensive , but what is a cheap list of parts , not like POS parts but a cheaper list of parts to get started on modding my 420a

i am ruining short on money at the times... so i just need the list to not be like HIGHLY expensive parts....

oh yah , and i do wanna spend a pretty good bit of money on Cams , any ideas on Cams to get , like pricing and part name please.....on the cams and everything....

Ummmmm, I'll give this a shot. I think I know what you're asking.

Most NT guys start with intake, header and exhaust. That should bump you like 10-15 hp. And about the cams, Crower makes a good set for the 420A. Go to www.crower.com and look under your car and you'll find they have 3(?) sets of cams for your car.

Cold Air Intake = AEM, Injen, RS Akimimoto (all about $150-$200)
Cat-Back Exhaust - Apexi,Greddy,Thermal R&D ($400-$600)
Header - Greddy, Hotshot, Pacesetter ($150-$400)
Spark Plug Wires - Nology, Magnecor 8.5mm ($50-$150)
Underdrive Pulley - Unorthodox, AEM? ($150 (i think))


2nd the reccomendation on Crower Cams ($400-$500)
+ add Unothordox, AEM, HKS Cam Gears (150+)

I've heard both yay and nay on this one
VENOM Control Module - ($300-$400)
* definite NO if you are an automatic
