Hey guys im kinda un-knowledgable about this, but what would u guys thinking about if i got dual cat back exaust? would it still add about the same??? thanks.

This is a choice being made on two things...
1) Money
2) Taste

Heres my opinion.
1) Too much money for minimal or negative gains.
2) Looks dumb considering you are running 140HP in a 4 cylinder engine.

I think it looks really nice when done right. I have an idea about doing it to my car so if you email me I'll discuses it with you.

Don't do it unless you're going for strictly show. Duals on an n/t is actually going to result in negative performance gains.

yeah, there was a dsm at a car show that had quad exhaust. looked good but probably wouldnt run worth shit.

hey... if i was you i'd go with dual it'd look better, but i put single on 95 eclipse and i think i'm helluva lot happier

If you want the dual look, just run a single pipe back and run a splitter off that, true dual would be running two separate pipes off of 2 exhaust ports each, I don't think this would sound too good and it would affect performance unless balanced perfectly, the exhaust gasses must be coming out at the same frequencies forthe engine to run optimum, hence the different lengths of tubes on the headers.
