Hey guys im planning to put the hahn stage 2 kit in my car and run it at around 8 psi till i get internals. im thinkin of goin wit the 2.2L stroker kit from howell. i wanna kno form u guyz wit ht e kit out there, does it just improve acceleration or will it improve top speed. im figuring it has to improve top speed but i wonderin if anyone has gone a huge amount of speed. cuz my friend got a GST and we did 140 in the car im wonderin if my car will do aorund that or faster wit the kit? Also final question will an Apexi N1 cat back exhaust for a GST fit on my GS?

I dont think you will be able to go much higher than 132.. I think that is when the rev limiter comes in on a NT. You can play around with the ECU and you will get more topend, but I wouldnt recomend it unless you are good with electronics. That is unless the 2.2 block comes with a new ECU? I could be wrong, so someone correct me if I am. Eiter way you will have a fast car

N/T ECU's have no speed limiter. You'll only stop going faster because of the drag on the car and the fact that your not making enough power to go faster.

I C, thanx a lot guyz for the info. also my last question would the N1 Apexi exhaust fo rthe GST fit on my GS, im hopin someone will kno the answer.

I have been 140mph in my 97 RS down the interstate. All i got is an intake and exhaust with some coilovers. Have you ever maxed out your car it may already dooo 140 and then you can go faster than the GS-T after your mods.
