Fuel Pump

I am thinking about upgrading my fuel pump. I am confused though because there are fuel pumps for inside the tank and outside the tank. Where is the fuel pump located in our cars. If it is in the tank how do you get to it to change it out wiht an aftermarket one?

our fuel pumps are in the tank. You can get to it by taking off the bottom of the back seat to reveal a cover, you'll know what I'm talking about when you take the seat off. Anyways, I noticed you're a turbo car, so if you check in the turbo performance section I know there was a thread about this like a day or two ago...
