if youve done it, comment on it. how much did it help? did you do it yourself? if you have a general knowledge of cars would you recommend having it professionally done or is it easy and if anyone has pics of it that'd be great two. is there any side effects of it?

if i was you I'd go with 1g intake manifold as it flows way more air than 2g. if you do wanna port yours ( you could do it yourself, check this http://www.carbidebur.com/automotive.html ) then also port your tb ( or put a jeep tb in there, it's way bigger than stock 2g tb, 1tuffrs has got all the info on it , contact him) or otherwise you won't see much gain if any on your ported manny. You need other mods ( KN and ported tb) to see any results, you might as well port your head to get a full benefit from it, check this http://www.sa-motorsports.com/diyport.htm , althou I'd leave head porting to profesionals.

On a note about the intake mani, theres a manifold coming out for 2G NT's from Indy. I think the prices stands at about $500 right now. Check out 2gnt.com for the info. So far it's estimated to give between 25-50 whp, however this is based only on the results of a dodge neon manifold made by the same company. Definitely something every NT should think about. Maybe if it gets even more interest Indy will give a group buy discount.

wow, 25 to 50 HP? that has to be with a TB to match and an intake surely, cause thats a huge jump, what about us 4g63 guys though? what manifolds are available for us? how much power does a sheet metal manifold make, anyone know?

I assume that's with an intake and throttle body, but the gains are just estimates. As far as the 1G guys, I don't know what you could do. Perhaps the 2G turbo manifolds made by Venom would work on your car? As far as the sheet metal manifold, it probably makes about as much horsepower as it could hold, maybe 5 :D .

if your stayin n/t keep the stock, it should support everything you wanna do. but if your like me and you want bigger just get a aftermarket one for the turbo car and only run the one vacuum line off of it. the only difference in the stock 1g turbo manis and the stock 1g n/t manis is the turbo has 2 vacum connections on the front and the n/t has one. the extra one on the turbo mani is for the bov which the n/t doent have so just plug it. the only other thing is the studs that hold on the tb. the turbo ones are longer.

i happen to like the magnus manifold. its got some good responses about it and ive heard nothing but good things. ive seen a couple of dyno sheetes of it run on a turbo car and its got some good specs too.
