car problems. help please

Can someone help me please. My car is running bad. before i could get my car up to 115-120 mph. now it stops accelerating at around 100. My gas milage has gotten really bad. It suck the gas out my tank really fast. All these problems just started all of a sudden. can someone please help me. I think it may be something with my exhaust system but not sure.

How about a tune-up, you know plugs, wires, oil change etc. etc. also think about changing your o2 sensor since bad ones often cause bad gas mileage.

check plugs, plug wires, check all of your fluids, check o2 sensor, cat, and check all sensors that connect to the TB. Also check the air filter.

I would first start with the basics. Take out your spark plugs, see if they need to be replaced, if not, re-gap them and place them back in your motor. If your wires have never been changed, get NGK wires, if they have, just leave them in. Check all your vacume hoses, and make sure they are placed on. Make sure your injectors aren't failing up either. You could have had the injectors going so fast that one could have busted, causing un even flow into the cylinder, and causing sometimes a dead cylinder. The only things it could be though, is either Ignition, or Fuel. Maybe it is your exhaust, but I can't understand why my Eclipse has never had its exhaust changed and its a 1990, and your 1996 needs a new catty.
