i just installed a star stage 2 kit to my 98gs. i am looking to replace the 4 stock fuel injectors with new ones. how many cc's is recommended with a stage2, and what brand should i get? if any of you fellow dsmers can help me out i would appreciate it

If your pumping over 300 HP, I would look into 550 Injectors with a faster fuel pump to keep up. Also a S-AFC would help you manage your system lots better.

I don't think his stock bottom 420a with the stage 2 Star kit is pushing over 300hp, come on now... If they fit 450's are cheap and will get the job done. Aren't stock NT injectors like 190cc? 450cc seems plenty!

will i run into any problems going from the stock 190cc to 450cc. like the engine flooding or anything?

To put it in really basic terms- if a stock 210hp dsm can run them I don't see why not and like we said look into buying a SAFC to make it run better. I'm assuming your car makes atleast 200hp right?

first of all the Turbo injectors will NOT work. Most turbo cars come with a certain type of injector (i forget what it is called) that isnt compatible with NT, or once NT, engines. You will either have to get some aftermarket injectors or find someone who wants to go halves on V8 mustang injectors. Also if you are gonna upgrade them you should at least get some 4- or 550's and a SAFC to control them. In all honesty the stock injectors should be OK when running 8psi, but of course the fuel pressure in your system will be a lot higher then if you were to upgrade your injectors.

You make a point about the Rods and pistons not holding up very well....BUt the Crank can hold Monster power....and also can we PLEASE not call it a neon engine...it is also found in the Avengers, Sebrings, and eclipses..and Chrysler has always been apart of the Diamond star family..infact when it comes to 1st gen Cars isn't the harnesses for the Cd Players a Chrysler component? Please it is a Diamond star motor...just from CHrysler...I am not trying to start and argument...just get a point across...and for the question...Accel makes kick ass injectors...or go to RC engineering and they will hook you up.
