what exactly is an engine rebuild
i have an idea
but when ppl say they are gonna do a rebuild, what exactly does that consist of

In lehman's terms you just take the engine apart and fix everything thats broken or worn and replace all bearings and seals then put it back together.

what he^^^ said is right, but normally when people say that in auto performance forums they mean replacing most of the internal parts with forged pieces, such as the rods and pistons.
