Mine was probably the stocker. It has flanges on both ends. After not being able to take the bolts out. I just cut it off close to the end of the flange. Then again I've got a little Miller welder too.

Gamble, I hear that. On the other hand I swing a 1lb sledge everyday in metal fabrication.

You should really just leave your cat alone. If you hollow it out or put a test pipe your 02 sensor after the cat is going to adjust your fuel trim and cause a CEL to come on and detune the engine to compensate for the excess emissions.

I'm pretty sure the rear o2 doesn't adjust the fuel curve. Any other guys who did this have that problem?

to bad i caint do it on mine i really dont wanna have to go thew cutting the pipe and haveing to pay someone to weld it i dont have a welder so i gusse ill just move on to something else that i have to do... thanks for the help

If I wasn't in NC I'd do it up for ya for 5-10 bucks just for welding wire, and CO2 gas. Call a couple shops, and see how much damage it'd do. I mean a new cat cut off, and welded on a new one is 80 bucks including the cat.
