OK if i get a N1 like exhaust and an actual Apexi N1 xhaust or a universla BOMB exhaust....will i tell the diff. in performance or not:confused:

I dont think you will be able to notice the difference in performance but there might be a difference in fitment. The APEX'i should fit perfect, other brands might have to be modified a little. Sound also differs(sp?) with brands.

Depends:

1. If you have a 5-speed get 3" or better for serious boost. If you plan to go with just the stock turbo with no more than 15psi then go with the 2.5" and you should be fine.

2. If you have an auto tranny then you should either get 2.5" for smaller turbo upgrades or mix it up (2.5 turbo to cat and 3" cat back) for higher boost applications. With the auto tranny you want to try and preserve some of that low end torque.

3. With a N/A you really dont need anything bigger than 2.5"

4. With a N/A conversions there is really no need for antything bigger than 2.5" because most people will never see more than 10-15psi.

Bigger exhaust = more airflow but too much airflow can be overkill.

This is just an opinion but it is also the what I have seen on most cars.
