ok, i have a 1990 plymouth laser, 1.8L. automatic.

what kind of gain would i excpect if i chop up aircan, attach ram air to it and add a K&N. Exhaust. Take out my catylilic converter. Torque converter. and thats it. what gain will i get??
what am i missing??

I would agree with bling bling. :) You will notice a top end difference. I must warn though, I have talked to many guys who try to deter getting rid of the cat. On NA engines you need the back pressure caused by the cat. Your low end will almost disappear (not like there was much there anyways) ;) but you will notice a difference in the top end.
