Have I found part of the answer to my idle problem?

If you've read any of my posts, you know I've been having problems with rough idle. Well when I got home from school earlier, I decided to take another look under the hood. Well what did I find? I found duct tape wrapped around the throttle, with a couple pieces of plastic in order to push thr throttle out a little bit. Perhaps the throttle cable is loose and it was put their to "tighten" it back up, but now the duct tape has wore out?I also found what looks to be a missing screw, there's a hole with threads, but no screw. This is right next to the throttle, on top of the piece where the throttle adjuster is. What screw is this for, if there is supposed to be one? I've got some pics of what I'm talking about, but the digicam is screwin up at the moment. I'll put up pics as soon as I can if it will be of any help. Thanks in advance.

Got the pic working.

Well let's just start by getting rid of the ghetto-rigged duct tape. Then see if that fixes it, so tighten your cable or get a new one (whatever you need). That is probably your biggest problem, but I don't know about that screw. :talon:
