Just showed my lil bro how to do a compression test on his car. I was a bit shocked. He has over 110K miles on his car and the compression was not to bad I thought. The person who had the car before drove the shit outta it. so I thought it was ganna be a bit lower and need some work.

1-190
2-180
3-195
4-185

2 seemed to be a little low I thought. But I think there was a leak in the compression guage, other than that each chamber was pretty close

can u get a shop to do a compression test? and what is a good price for it?

if you do not know that much about cars. Yes you can have a shop do it for you. As for price I am not sure because I have been working on mine and my dads cars since I was little. And we have all the tools to do the job. I would just go to a couple of different shops. And get a price. then compair the price's between the different shops. Sorry for spelling. My back hurts and Im tired

You'll learn more about your car if you figure out how to do regular maintenance yourself.
