hey guys..i have done a little searching and as it looks there isn't much for my new to me 98 GS spyder but i was looking for an intake and i am wondering is this what everyone is referring to to make one work on my car?

you dont ned anything to "make one work on your car", they make Cold Air Intakes for our second gens. If your looking for a new filter, go K&N if you can, they're readily available, and much better thne most you'll find on ebay. But by all means, ebay gets some really decent intakes for the priuce u pay.

well from what i have read a regular NT 2G intake will not fit on a spyder 4g64 engine

oh, sorry i didn;t see u said spyder. Just search for spyder intake on ebay, they have em for sure. Ya yer right regular N/T intake wont fit the spyder, but they make special ones just for the spyder if i remember correctly.
