Hello everyone, I just bought three HK$ 60mm gauges that won't fit in bore-out A pillar pods. I began removing the center cluster panel and viola, the three gauges fit like a glove!

That was the easy part. Now I need to figure a way to relocate the A/C and heat control knobs to the stock CD deck area. I know I've seen Tom Stangl relocate his control knobs and it can be done, I was wondering if someone has a VFAQ for it. Pics and some form of instructions would be awesome! Thanks in advance.

I shaved the pod in L2RTSi's Talon to the very edge of it and the blitz 60mm fit in there just fine... Dremel OWnZ jOO!!!

I'm not as up on the 1G parts so I have a question. Does anyone sell a 60mm dual pod for a 1G or am I going to have to ream out a 52mm pod to make it fit. I thought Lo-Tek sold them but they are only listed for the 2G. Thanks for the help.

Where can I get an Autometer 60mm gauge pod? I've looked all F**** week! I looked on the Autometer site, I know they make them for 1g's, but I cannot find them anywhere! I swear there is a freakin conspiracy against 1g's I've seen dozens of 60mm pods for the 2g.

Remember with auto-meter you are looking for a 2 and 5/8inch gauge pod not 60mm

thanks guys, I just ordered a gauge pod. Dsmmotorsport said if I trim it it will fit my gauges. Finally. That was a project.

yeah cause some ass stole my old one, i need a new one, i havent been able to find a full piller for 2 guages in 60mm, just 52. i know i have seen one in carbon fiber... but where, please help (full piller, bottom to top)

I have an Autometer pod and bored it out to fit my 60 mm Defi's. The whole time I was doing it I was thinking there was no way it was gonna fit, but it did. Just go at it with a dremel.

i have an a-pillar pod from my old car and going to put it in my new car.. but at the same time i'm going to switch to 60mm gauges.. tried to search for pics but had no luck.. has anybody had experience of doing this and have any pics to see the results? thanks

These aren't the best pictures in the world but you'll get the idea. When you're done boring out the pod it seriously won't look like the gauges are gonna fit, scared the crap outta me. But the really really thin side walls will bow out and the gauge will fit perfectly. Make a template of the gauge out of paper to guide your dremeling. The template will overlap the sides of the pod, but don't worry because like I said before, the pod will bend.

Here's a couple pics with them in:

And here's a pic where I was trying to show how thin the side wall is:

Hope I helped and good luck.

Hey guys I am confused because I got full pillar gauge pod for 2 1/16 gauges, the problem is I bought 60mm Apexi EL boost gauge, so has anyone cut bigger hole to make it fit ?
and what makes it stay in place?
or the only way is to get 60mm gauge pod (witch comes only with 3 gauges)

please try to help me if I have to send gauge pod back or try to make it fit.
Stan
