Hi I am very new to the forum and I have been checking out all of the threads and I was wondering. I just recently bough a stock 97 GS and was considering buying a GSX or GST but availibilty became a problem. Since I could not find one I still look to persue driving a Turbo Eclipse and would greatly like to convert my GS into a turbo. The only problem is I dont know as to what to put on to my engine in order to have in ready for the turbo. I would greatly appriciate it if someone could help me out and maybe provide a list of parts that i need to get. If a thread like this has already been posted it is my bad and i must have lookpast it but if you can direct to me that thread it would be greatly appriciated. Thanks to everyone that replies and please help me out

thanks to all that replied i appriciate it alot but im still lost when its comes to where to go at the sites and the keys things i need if someone has a list as to what they put on there GS before Turbo it would be incredibly helpful and thanks again to those who replied

i have the same question but i have a 98 GS spyder with the 2.4 liter engine......any ideas?

... this thread is gonna be moved....
If you plan on upgrading your engine you could go with the hahn racecraft stage 3 turbo kit which comes with engine internals to help build up your engine... www.howellautomotive.com also has some bottom end kits to rebuild your engine for going turbo. There is a N/T-Turbo conversion thread that this question should have been posted in, read through there I'm sure you'll find some usefull information.

Now you have it a little easier than JimmyJ. You can just swap the turbo kit off of a 4g63 since you have a 4g64. You'll need the exhaust manifold, turbo, intercooler, wastegate (don't know if it's internal), blow-off valve, ecu, knock sensor... and eventually you would want to probably swap your head for a 1g turbo.

there's an entire separate nt forum for turbo discussion, start using it.
