turbo exhaust manifold

does anyone know if i cut the exhuast manifold (the peice that bolts on to the turbo) from a turbo eclipse and weld it on to my non turbo one, would it work...i'm bolting on a t3 turbo...or should i buy the flange for the t3 and weld that on instead...is it really necessary to run coolent through the turbo...i've heard from people that you don't really need that...just the oil line and that is it...?

running oil is fine, and actually you can't run coolant unless the turbo is made for it

Remember that you are trying to use parts from two completely different engines ( if you have a 2G N/A ) I really dont think that it will even bolt up properly. My answer is no!
