Hi I am very new to the forum and I have been checking out all of the threads and I was wondering. I just recently bough a stock 97 GS and was considering buying a GSX or GST but availibilty became a problem. Since I could not find one I still look to persue driving a Turbo Eclipse and would greatly like to convert my GS into a turbo. The only problem is I dont know as to what to put on to my engine in order to have in ready for the turbo. I would greatly appriciate it if someone could help me out and maybe provide a list of parts that i need to get. If a thread like this has already been posted it is my bad and i must have lookpast it but if you can direct to me that thread it would be greatly appriciated. Thanks to everyone that replies and please help me out

There are turbo kits that simply will bolt on to your 420a engine, and will give you 40-75 horsepower, they'll run you from 1500 to 2000 dlls or more, http://www.hahnracecraft.com/ here you can see some good kits, and it'll help you on what your looking for, they also have some good advice...

if you want to increase the power after the turbo kit is installed, you'll have to upgrade your fuel system, pistons, exhaust among other things... you are loking at over 3000 dlls to your engine, and still will not be as good as a factory turbocharged engine, so im my opinion, put money to your car to make it "nice looking" and sell it, then you'll find a good turbo car, and you'll be more happy, but it takes time... so it's your choice...! :thumb:
