I posted before about suddenly losing my power steering when I was driving. I looked around and it appears that the power steering belt got shredded and came off the pulley. Any ideas on what caused this? Should I bring this to the dealer and let them replace it or is it easy enough to do? Also, how long do you think it takes to replace? Thanks

First try to turn the power steering pump pully with you hand, if it doesn't turn then it's seized up and that's your problem. Or, the belt just popped off for some reason. Either way don't run you car without power steering for to long or you'll end up like me, in need of a new rack.
