would anyone from around OP or Olathe be interested in a meet just to talk cars and whatnot? i realize theres already like KCDSM and whatnot, but i was thinkin just us dsmtuners people? hit me back...lets try n plan somethin

Hey Silvereclipse, we all should all meet up, me and Meef are trying to plan some stuff out, and we will try and see if TWITCH will come to, i know of some friends, and meef knows friends, we will all have a OP/Olathe meet, ill Holla* at ya with some news
 
alright everybody...Meet is gonna be Friday the 24th (of January), at the Hooters on metcalf..right by the highway. if anyone has any objections, suggestions, or anything else like that, speak up asap :) hope to see everybody there!!!
 
yah i'm totally down for the meet, i'll tell a few other of the local dsm boys. that hooters is right down the street from my house. i'll be definate game, i know a few of the girls that work there so the younger crowd might be ok for a few beers. my aim is Idiot Stick 02

i might be able to show up... that's too far in advance for me to try and plan. ####, i don't even know what i am doing tonight, let alone in like 2 weeks :) i don't own my dsm anymore, it was a big fat piece of crap and i got sick of fixing it. i do have a brand new impala with a bumpin system though :)

that's the hooters on metcalf, right? i once, uh.... had "relations" with one of the waitresses there... i hope she doesn't still work there. that was one of those i sorta forgot to call back the next day :D whoops!
 
sorry, not trying to steal the thread but since this one is filled with local guys i figured it's a decent shot. time to take a commercial break :)

i am selling a nakamichi CD-40z head unit. it's only a couple months old and since i parted out my laser i don't need it. will sell it for 150 bucks, bought it for 330 bucks, still have the receipt. and i also have a JL 10w3 in a small sealed box that i'm selling. the box is really small, and if you're looking for great bass without a heavy box this is it :) the whole thing weighs less than 20 lbs but it slams! will also sell for 150, paid 300 a few months ago. receipts for that too somewhere... pm me if you're interested, or you can call me at 913-207-5744

back to the hooters meet. mmmmmmmmm boobies.... er uh, i mean... wings :D

what up chris? how many people in this thread ALONE are named chris? at least 3 i can count... me you twitch... anyone else? :)

i guess you could say i was a little frustrated with my car, after replacing the entire ENGINE, ECU, every little nut and bolt on the car, and got EVERYTHING on the stage II list done (plus a couple not on there) low and behold the balance shaft belt broke, bending every valve in the head and i think it popped a couple holes in pistons :( i decided that was the last straw and refused to fix it again. it obviously wanted to die, so i'll let it. i parted her out for all she was worth and then sold it to some local kid who's gonna rebuild it and get it back on the road again. not sure how much work that will entail, but i'm sure he didn't realize what he was getting into. that's ok i'm happy with the pimpala :) i got a JL amp and a couple badass JL subs, next step will be an eclipse in dash dvd player!

does anyone know a good place that does window tinting out here? tintmaster's stuff fades to purple, i don't want that. midwest tinting wanted almost 300 bucks OMG does anyone know someone that does good work that won't overcharge me? i wanna get 32% mirror tint... it'll match the blueish purpleish color of my car well. this is too long, i'll stop now.

I figure I'll be there too with my 1g GS project. I work at the same place as twitch so I have to take off work for it also. Guess I have to clean and wax my car after all that dang snow that we got lastnight oh well all for a good cause... See you all there...

really, i wus the drunk dude that showed up late in the white gst, parked next to marcus and chris? a black 98 gst and a marron 95 tsi awd. it wus a nice little turn out, wish i would have been there earlier. we'll all be there next weekend though.
 
Yep It will be Sweet. Gotta do some work on it before the meet though. I raised it up so that it would get around in the snow. So i have to lower it again and wash it all up. Hopefully I'll get some pics to add to my gallery. hehe
