Ok I have kyb agx all around, and energy suspension bushings which I have not yet installed…

If I do get this coin then I might spend some or all on glorious suspension mods and I was wondering what are some opinions

Springs: I have pretty much decided on the eibach prokit, that has the 1.3" drop right? I'm not so sure about coil overs, unless they are tien or jic but I cant afford that now. Right now I have all my agx shocks set at 2 out o 4 hardness. Should I increase the shocks' hardness if I lower it?

Strut Bars: I have heard that strut bars are strut bars, is this true? And is there really a lower rear strut bar for the 2g? What is recommended? I like the polished look personally. But it is important for me that they do their job and aren't for show.

Sway bars: this is important, I have heard some touted as that which will give the car "go-kart handling", "riding on rails" what is recommended. I heard that one is adjustable?

I hope this post will become a good reference for people. And if it is not too much to ask, could people head their replies with "springs" or "strut bars" etc. if this is the sole subject of their reply. Thanks.

I have ground control coilovers on my car and it is dropped about two inches all around. The car runs a little rough over bumps. I would recommend dampening the stuts more. Strut bars are pretty much strut bars. You do not want one of the bars that is flat. If you have seen DC sports bars, you know what not to look for. Those bars flex all over the place. Just get one or two of the simple ones on ebay. You can get them for practically nothing. Alot of those bars should be polished. You can get them from www.Turbotrix.com polished nicelyif you want to spend some money. There is no point to a rear lower bar on an AWD car. The chasis is already stiff not to mention that there is no room for the bar. No one makes one to my knowledge.

You just need a rear sway bar. Most of the kits out there do no change the front anyway. The RM kit gives you new bushings for the front. If you look in the parts guide on this site they have a bunch of sway bars on there. I know a few guys which the RM bar on the back and they handle very nicely. The Suspension Techniques kit is adjustable. I am not sure if it is available for your car but it lets you alter the bracket points for more structure.

You should be able to do everything you need to and have some extra money on the side for the bushings. I wish I had those installed myself. Then you can be the guy on the autocross track lifting the back right wheel off the ground.

Thanks. that was helpful, im not sure what you meant by the last line... hahah, yeah i havent installed the bushings yet... i need a press or a trip to my mechanic... either way it will be a pain in the arse to put them in. i think i will wait till i get my new springs or a brake kit so i have a reason to pull the suspension apert. thanks agian
