hello everyone,
ok i just bought a 92 eclipse GS, n/t of course... i have test driven the car a good distance and all seemed well, so i bought it. i brought it home and gave it a good washing, and when i took it back out the tachometer got stuck at 2500rpm, and there is a ticking noise, raising and lowering with the engines rpm's... it is located on the driver's side, around the timing cover, cant quite pinpoint where its coming from.
so what im asking is, is the tachometer being stuck at a certain rpm part of the problem with the ticking comin from inside the engine bay?
any input is appreiciated... please help
thanx
