My (nothing much) mods... Ported 2g o2, ported 2g exhaust mani, walbro 255 fp, 2.5" downpipe, high flow cat, and muffler, running 18lbs boost still rich, a/f guage, exhaust temp, boost guage...
The ACT 2600 has been called a tranny breaker...will it cause harm if you let the clutch out slowly and not drop it out? Clutch just went out and I am looking at a ACT 2100 and the 2600...I wanna put more power eventually but not for a while most likely...I obviously dont want to destroy my transmission but if I go with a 2100 and i drive my car hard just about all the time...will it wear out rather quickly or will the 2600 do the same when I am letting the clutch out slowly rather than dropping it out...
Basically my question if i slip the 2600 out will it do transmission damage and will it last longer than the 2100....
thank you

! No, I meant physically dropping the tranny to change the clutch. Meaning, the 2100 will be useless when you go to a bigger turbo and trying for 1.6 60ft times.
So get the 2600 now and save the hassle of swapping clutches out later.
