The 2.4 has no rear oil separator plate. The 2.0 does. Is there any reason to use the 2.0 rear oil separtor plate in my G4CS?

I would think since we are keeping the 2.4 bottom end there is no real need to use that plate.

Appreciate you G4CS guys help right away as doing engine in next couple days.

Guys really need an anwer to this question. The 2.4 has no oil separator on the rear main seal housing ,the 2.0 does. But since still using 2.4 crank and rods are same and bearings are same as 2.0 why would this separator be necessary. What exactly does it do on the 2.4 and why don't the 2.4 G4CS have one?
