I'm trying to finish the car up tomorrow (everything except for the downpipe being modified at an exhaust place) and really need to get the FPR installed but can't think of anyway to do it that doesn't look halfassed. Anyone with pics? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Scott

Sweet!!! Thanks a lot man. I like the second link. Sheesh, I've been searching and searching and even going thru the gallery and all the pics I've been seeing are blurry or just not very good shots that I could see. Really appreciate it. I was really on a time crunch. :thumb:

Alright, here's pics of what I ended up doin. Went to Lowe's (same as Home Depot) and bought some aluminum strips. Put it in a vice and bent, then hammered to get the sharp corners. Drilled holes and mounted. Did for both fpr and catchcan.

Damn 1gs and tons of space there. Ill have to put pictures of where I put mine. I had to freaking shove it to get it to fit under the hood. Absolutely no room in my engine bay.

Not to get off subject but I have the same Aeromotive FPR but I am missing the vacuum/boost thing that screws into the FPR. Anyone know where I can get one of those?

Replacement part number for that barb fitting is 15630. Try calling Aeromotive to order it: 913-647-7300. Or you could try any dealer of Aeromotive products.

Scott,

Here is how I mounted my Aeromotive FPR on the firewall where the old fuel pump Selonoid was.

You have a magnus manifold....Where you have it mounted I would not be able to put the gauge on front.

Thanks to TheSpeedFactor for helping me get in one of the fittings, after cutting myself a few bazillion times getting in the first one, I decided to have them do the other. I hate ss lines... At least I havent had any of my lines ever leak.

just thrown in, insulated against rubbing with a rag, and ziptied into place, LOL

This is the past, the new install in the new car will be alittle cleaner.
