I would fallow what this guy said. Get a used tire your going to be better off and cheaper. If you cannot find a used tire then if your last option is to get a new one then just my .02 I would replace 2 of them and keep them both on the front till they are worn like the others that are left on the rear and then rotate them. By the way i would keep the other one that they would take off that is good ten you have a spair tire just in case of the same scenario. Good luck.
 
You could try and find a used one with about the same amount of tread. Its best to buy all 4 new instead of two because it could mess up the transfer case. Also when I worked at a tire store they could have a new tire shaved down to the same amount of tread.
 
You would be ok either buying a new tire, or finding one used. With the minimal amount of difference in the height, it should have no ill effect on the transfer case or differential.
