What manifold do you guys think or know is better? Both seem to be badass pieces and we all know what Full Race does with Hondas.

anyone know?,
Josh

I have seen both. Both are super high quality, full race can get you the product a bit faster.

Steven

Both are awesome products, just be sure to use some thermal wrap on your upper radiator hose.

Do you know how much power the DSM's that are running full race are putting down? Or any how they are running at all? I know its kind of a broad question but I was just wondering about this.

thanks again,
Josh

I believe on Buschur's forum, he tested the full-race against a few other manifolds. I don't remember the results of the test but you can go over there and check it out.

I haven't really heard that much about Full-Race but I have heard nothing but good things about Shearer manifolds. The quality is second to none and it was used to set the record for most power on a GT35R no nitrous.

I was talking with some friends last night and they told me to look into Neukin manifolds. He then told me that he had just made 604fwhp with this manifold and dp on his integra. OMG

The main worry I have is getting a manifold and not having a downpipe to go with it. I dont trust many exhuast shops around here to weld up a badass downpipe. I know DNP has a manifold and downpipe option but I dont want to go DNP.

So do you guys know if Full-Race or Shearer offer a downpipe also? I guess I could call them but was just wondering if you guys knew before I go off bothering busy business people.

later,
Josh

Neukin's are nice. But like I said before any of these top notch companies have amazing, proven manifolds. I'm sure Shearer or Full-Race can make you a downpipe if you ask nicely. :thumb:

So, what's your point? evil_eagle put down 692/567 on a 2G manifold.

full-race manifolds are awsome they out flow shearer and they are a bit stronger

Shearer. Awesome products, awesome guy, can't go wrong here.

And you know this how?

Thats what I want to know. How do you know how it out flows the shearer manifolds? Im not saying it doesnt Im just wondering how you know.

ISUJakey, Im not trying to say that Honda's are better or anything Im just saying that he made that power on the Neukin manifold and downpipe, which is simply amazing.

who should I go with?,

Now there is some worthwhile information. ROFL

My vote goes towards Ron Shearer primarily because of the friendliness he shows on the forums.

I realize what you're saying. However, without a back-to-back comparison of the Neukin vs. X brand vs. Y brand vs. Z brand, those dyno numbers do not prove anything about that manifold.

Whether you choose to go with a Shearer or Full Race manifold you will end up with a quality product. Shearer Fab offers a lifetime warranty on all of our manifolds, and I believe Full Race does also. I don't think to many other companies are willing to back there product like that. We have been building manifolds specifically for Mitsubishi's for quite a while now and have a good selection of manifolds to choose from to fit your needs, whether it be a stock replacement manifold, T3, undivided T4, or top mount divided t4.

We are also finishing up the final touches on a t3 turbo kit that will be a direct bolt on and work with factory style exhausts. The turbos that will initially be offered will be a GT35R, ball bearing 50trim, and a ball bearing 67mm. The undivided T4 manifold will have a long style o2 housing offering that wraps underneath the oil pan and should work with most exhausts with some slight modification. The top mount manifold will have a 3" and 4" o2 housing that also will wrap underneath the oil pan as well as a side exit style exit exhaust for you drag racers.

We are working on a new web site right now and will get all the new information up ASAP.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Thanks,
ron

With the manifolds that you offer right now do you have a downpipe that will bolt up to a GT35 style turbo? I will love to go with your manifold just need a downpipe to go along with it. I dont trust many welders around my area, and if you back your pruducts up with a life time warrenty then im game!

Rip it!!,

because i had both set ups and the full-race same turbo made more power
and alot more torque

Great. Provide us with a dyno chart and then maybe we'll believe you. As for how the Full-Race is stronger, I'm still waiting to hear your explanation. Did you model it and run an FEA analysis on it? Did you physically analyze it with a set of strain gages?

Go with Shearer. I have heard many many good stories about his products. If you want the very best in quality and service go with Shearer. End of story. Full-race might be great but no hard hard evidence to back it up again and again. Keep it up guys. :thumb:

As far as i know the Shearer t3 manifold has put down the most power out of all the T3 manifolds out there on a 35r with no spray.

Questions for the vendors: do you backpurge the manifolds when welding? Can you offer some measurements on your website as far as flange placement relative to the head? I am currently on my second manifold from another vendor. The first one cracked, and I assume this one will as well. I do want a manifold that has similar turbo placement as the one I am using now.

Out of curiousity, what are you using now? And what it made of?

I am using a South Florida Performance mani made out of mild steel. Design looks decent, although some of the angles exiting the exhaust ports on the head do not seem ideal. I ran this mani with an N1 downpipe, which was secured to the block. The T3 flange cracked along the back side of the collector. I was able to get it replaced through SFP with some difficulty, however I see the same thing happening again.
