Okay i installed a S-AFC2 in my 1g and the weird thing is, is that i have to run it at 2 cylinders on the AFC in order for the RPMs to be correct... if i do 4 cyl the rpms on the AFC are cut in half.. anyone know why this is?

also if i have to leave it at 2 cyl on the AFC would the fuel settings have to be cut in half??? so if i do +10% its really doing +5%???

thanks for that page! :thumb:

RPM Signal off by half (1G) Because of the way that Mitsubishi triggers the ignition coils, this is normal. To fix it, just set the Cylinders to "2"

thats what it says at the bottom BUT it doesn't say if the %'s for fuel enrichment are cut in half also? so if i'm at +25% at 7000rpms does that mean its only really doing +12.5% at 7000rpms???

leave all the rpm setting at 0% for now and get a logger so you can fool with those read up more about loggers and afcs.

Wheres the cheapest place for a logger or pocketlogger???

i need bigger injectors... i believe i'm peaking them out.. it hits fuel cut at 6,000rpm at 14psi with the afc setting at +18% at 6,000rpm.. i have the evo3 16G turbo with full exhaust, dejon tool intake. also its about 40 degrees out here in MN, so that might be hurting me right now

(find one used/buy the program yourself and get a palm) Look and read on the site about them and what they do before you go and buy one, research everything about afcs and loggers before you play with them.

Steve is right, I did the same thing... Hooked it up incorrectly by following the instructions...

If you need a data logger setup, Im selling mine, I outgrew my setup and am going to DSMLINK, check out the classifieds, search for pocketlogger and you should find my setup.
