I'm completely confused at a few things for installing my boost gauge.

My gauge came with reeeaaaaaly small diameter vacuum line. So small that the entire line fits inside the hole on a 3/16th fitting[ not around the barbs, but inside it! ] . Its the white/clearish vacuum line that came with my faze boost gauge.

I'm not sure what kind of T fitting to use, because i need the T fitting to have a side small enough for my small boost gauge vacuum line, and then the other two sides would need to be big enough to fit the fuel pressure selunoid line...which leads me to my next question

What size is the fuel pressure selunoid line? I had trouble finding this and want to make sure i have the right size fitting before i go cutting the line. I think i saw mentioned in a thread that a 3/16th would work?

Should i find/buy a 3/16th T fitting on all 3 sides and somehow [ tips on doing this please..] shimmy up some adapter so my small boost gauge vacuum line somehow connects?

P.S. I read a few of threads on the T fitting, but none seemed to pertain to vacuum hose being as small as mine, and I DID look at one local hardware store and didn't find any T fittings under 1/4th . I still have got to check 2 more hardware stores, and an autoparts store in a little while, and figured i'd post for some hopeful advice/tips.

OK, i've been searching around the web, and found out that my thin nylon vacuum hose is to hard to fit on barbed T fittings, and found 2 possible solutions.

find some Vinyl hose and a compression fitting that will allow me to hook up the newer bigger Vinyl hose to my gauge [ a bi*** to find from what i've read]

or

use some 'RTV' stuff on the outside of my vylon vacuum line, then find some Vinyl vacuum hose that has a snug fit. The rtv will seal to the vacuum hose over top and then i can put the lager vacuum hose on the T fitting. guide below

What T fitting should i get that fits the FPS vacuum line? is 3/16ths good?

you can also put a barb adaptor from home depot on the gauge itself. then use standard t and vacuum line from autozone and that should work fine. i used the on my autometer cf boost gauge and have had no problems.

I went to Lowe's and had to get a 3/8 inch to 1/4 inch adapter and a 1/4 inch barb fitting because they didn't stock any 3/8 inch barb fittings. it makes the back of the gauge a bit bulky but it works I guess. I don't know exactly how they expect you to use those compression fittings that come with a lot of gauges but I couldn't figure out how to do it. Good luck with your install.
