91 AWD. Buschur stage 3 bottom end and Buschur stage 3 top end (verified to have both). Approx. 5k miles on motor. I've only owned the car for 2-3 months and have put only about 500 miles on it. VPC/GCC setup. Cosmo pump. 550cc injs. SX Regulator. TMO stage 3 chipped ECU. MSD Ignition. 7es plugs at .032. Car is knocking like crazy on the logger. At idle and at speed. No matter what, as soon as I give the car ANY throttle it goes full knock. It's KILLING my power. Only getting like 7-9 deg. timing at WOT. :( Messing with fuel does nothing. Pulled spark plug wires one at a time and problem is there regardless. If you listen closely at idle when you rev it up it sounds like there is almost like a soft "hollow" knock sound coming from the motor. It follows the rpm too it seems. Under accel. it's not heard. I put in brand new JAM lifters and that did nothing either. Everything in the head looked GREAT when I pulled the cover too. Anyone that can throw out some ideas it'd be much appreciated. Not 100% sure where to go with this one next.

Sounds like it could be phanom knock comming from something literally knocking against the engine causing the knock sensor to pick up a false reading. Make sure there isn't anything bumping around on your engine or around your engine bay that could cause this.

Ok. you say you hear a knock all the time? I have had a couple of engines with the rear balance shaft bad which will knock. Use a stethescope and listen around number 1 and 2 cylinders near the oil pan. See if it is any louder there. This could trigger your knock sensor. As was said earlier, check for any mechanical reason for the knock, Not hearing the engine I can only offer educated guesses. I would also remove all drive belts and recheck to see if any accessory could cause the problem. Not likely, but worth a look. The knock at idle bothers me as the knock could be mechanical since spark knock and detonation usually only happens under load. I would seriously check out the bottom end again. I know this isn't much but it's all I can think of.

Sounds like PK. Try going to your dodge dealership and getting some MCC(Mopar Combustion Cleaner) and take off your uicp and spray it in the TB. It will try to die so keep it revved up, no higher then 1500. Use about a half a can or a whole can if you feel the need. This should do the trick. It has for me everytime my PK has came back. If you need better instructions then pm me.
