looking for some one in co with dsm link

ok peoples i am looing for some one in the pueblo colorado springs area that has a dsm link setup that works i have my dsmlink set up but i can get my laptop to communicate with the car. i am looking for some one with a working setup to plug it in to my car and see if theres works that will eliminate the part of my connercter being bad. also if some one had a laptop that will work with dsm lonk and has been tested and wanna sell to hit me up with a pm.

Make sure you select the correct port in the options menu. If you're using a USB to serial adaptor (they all mostly work on 2g ecu's) then you're not going to be the default port. Try all of them that show up. Also, make sure you have the key all the way to the right and that the ECU is turned on before you try to connect. If this doesn't work, contact the dsmlink guys via their forum!

ya i have tryed all the ports and i have also contacted him. he even re worte the dsm link program for me and he also tested my us and my cable but i need to find out if my connecter is bad and i can do that by plugging in some one elses dsm link and if it works i know its my lap top. so again i am looking for some on in the colorado area that has dsm link

I have dsmlink in my car. I am by the park meadows mall area though. Have you tried the local boards? There are a few people with dsmlink. Try www.rmdsm.org or the email msg board for http://co.dsm.org
