ok so this will be the third output shaft seal i have put in in a month. anyone who has changed one of these knows it is a bi*** and its twice as hard on an awd car and half as much room. but anyway i was wondering if i am forgeting anything cause everytime i put a new one in it still leaks.do i have to pre oil the seal or anything like an oil filter. or is there some thing i am doin that is damaging the part as i put it in. i don't know. i am just sick of changing this seal.

Yes all seals should be lubricated befor instillation. Also I am not 100% but I am pretty sure that the output shaft seal is a lip seal which means that it is directional. If it is the lips have to face inward to the trans, so that pressure will actually make the seal better.
