:dsm: 92 mitsu eclipse gsx awd auto.
my car was running fine. i stopped at a friends house turned off my lights and went to set my timer and the car stalled. now when i try to start it it cranks over but my cam gears don't move . what happened? :dsm:

timing belts not broke checked it already.thanks :dsm:

i don't know but belt is tight and runs all the way around like it's supposed to. :dsm:

that could be going out to check it with a buddy who would know more .

That doesn't mean anything. Like huafist said and I implied the belt's bad = broke.
You actually have to pull all the plastic covers to check the belt so you can see where it goes around the crank and check the teeth on the belt.

well please show some curitosy to those who are trying to help you out dsmchoas76 and also i would double check to see how the timing belt sits around the crank pulley.
