I took off my Eclipse sticker that was accross the center taillight insert, and the taillight is faded where the stickers used to be. I tried to use Goo-Gone, but that didn't work. So I'm wondering if the sun could have faded it or something. I really don't want to have it painted but I'd like for it to look a bit cleaner. Anyone have any other ideas on how to get rid of it? Thanks.

go to a motorcycle shop and get a plasitc polish. i bought some and did my lights it shines them up very well and takes a lot of scratchs out. you buy trhee bottoms . it is easy to do.

I had the same problem too. I took off the lettering about a month ago and the Elipse ghost was there. But only a month later, it seems to be almost gone.

GRRR i have this EXACT SAME THING~! theres a ghost of the eclipse lettering there.. at night you cant see it.. but in the day time as you step further away from the car you can notice it.. i mean its a cool effect and all but i dont want that.. so theres on real way to remove it eh?

I did try to use some cleaner polish as well as the Goo-Gone, but neither worked at all. Mine starts to disappear the farther away you get also, but it still bugs me. Anyone know of anywhere I could get another one that probably isnt faded so I can de-tag that one? Thanks.
