I have basically stock 99 gsx, MBC intercooler piping and bov. I know that im hitting fuel cut at around 16-17psi. So i try to run on the edge of fuel cut. If i get an S-AFC II and a 255lph pump, with 680cc injectors.
A.)Can i turn up the boost past 17psi w/ the T-too small, without hitting fuel cut?
B.)Can i remove the MAS, or will it need to be replaced with a GM MAF and Translator?
C.)If in fact i will still hit fuel cut, will the HKS fuel cut defender work with a 2g?

Thank You.

Turning up the boost past 17psi on the t 25 is pretty pointless unless you have a big fmic cause it'll blow nothing but hot air
2. You can use the gm-maft but you cant just get rid of the maf unless you have some type of stand alone
3. If you really think about it you dont really wanna eliminate your fuel cut. Its the only thing really keeping your car from self destructing if you run too much boost and not enough fuel. You will probably hit fuel cut later than 17 psi if you have it tuned right. The fact that you are getting a bigger pump and injectors in conjunction w/ an afc and/or a gm maft will signifigantly raise the point of fuel cut since you will have such control over your fueling.

So by turning up the fuel, i will be able to boost past 17psi. but it would be best to do it with a FMIC.

And im almost possitive i dont have any leaks.

Any more advice will be much appreciated. thanks

running more then 15psi on a t-25 is just ASKING for center cartridge failure. and why would your want to run more then then 17psi w/ the t-25?? it falls on its ass around 5200rpm's??? im w/ the other guy that posted this before.. get a bigger turbo, front mount, etc.. and have SUPPORTING mods before you try to run over 15psi.. not trying to be a prick just my 2 pennies.

no, turning up the fuel via safc will make it hit fuel cut sooner

You should be fine. If you would like to turn up the boost more. Do it. Its almost impossible to hit fuel cut with a t-25. You should be fine as long as it doesnt spike. If it does, back it down 1 psi and see if it spikes. Keep backing it down till it doesnt. Of course running over 15 psi on the t-25 will make it fail quicker, but that just gives you an even better reason to upgrade your turbo. Have fun.

Just read a lil bit more. You cant be hitting fuel cut. Its almost impossible. Your 2g MAF is good way beyond the t-25 dont even begin to think it cant read the air your moving cuz your not moving much. If you get a GM MAF and MAFT you DONT need a stand alone at all. Retarded comment. You still dont need one tho. You have a basically stock GSX. I can almost guarantee you cant be hitting fuel cut. Check for boost leaks. Would you listed i/c piping were you meaning its upgraded or stock?

i have a 97 gsx and i was hitting fuel cut @15psi at just over 4k rpm with only 3" full exhaust, uicp w/greddy bov, greddy ebc and 190l fuel pump. i took out the lower honeycomb in the maf and no more fuel cut....... that is until i messed with the boost and went above 15psi. OMG

perhaps but your probably already getting a bost leak from your stock bov hense fuel cut

your 2g mas will support good horsepower. but some advantages of maft is blowthru (boostleaks are not so important, but you still should fix any), able to read high horspoer airflow (you'll probably never out grow it), you can "tune out" fuel cut and run way more boost in the process with 650s (you can do that with safc as well)

see above.
