OK my last engine threw a rod and I have a parts car sitting out frount with a perfectly running non turbo 4g63 complete that I would like to swap in, how would I go about doing that. would I have to use non turbo axles on the non turbo tranny?? and also what about wiring with injectors I know thye dont use a resistor pack so how would I elminate that and a few other little things like no knock sensorm i, just hoping that I wont have to swap out engine harnesses, thanks.

Easiest way to do this would be to swap the entire head (manifolds an all) onto the nt block. Switch out the oil filter housing and water pump lines and thermostat housing. Hook everything back up the way it was on the fwd and you now just have shitty pistons in a turbo block. Keep the boost low until you can afford to replace everything correctly.

Essentially the only thing you're replacing is the actual block, crank, and pistons. Everything else on your car (even the knock sensor) will find a home on the nt motor just fine. You just need to put it there. This is sort of what I did with my old motor that melted a piston, except I also installed another set of used 1g turbo pistons.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Well I heard if you have like one count of knock it will literly blow the ring lands on the n/t pistons and how could I lower the boost past stock is there any way to do that by modifying the stock actuator.

It's not quite that bad, but they are pretty fragile. I'd keep the boost down and realize that you're driving around with a hand grenade in that engine and start saving for some turbo pistons real quick.

I've run an nt motor as an nt with the turbo electronics and its a complete dog and mine wouldn't rev over 4500rpm the fuel maps were so off.
