Hella supertone horns

I just got the hella supertone horns and the instructions are so confusing, i also haven't found anything about how to wire them in a 2g. Is there anyone on here that has it done on there car if so can someone give me steps, a diagram, something im so lost. Thanks in advance.

When I had them in my subaru, I had pretty much a ground, tapped power from my original horn and the mounting brackets in the middle of my grill.

Let me know if you NEED pics and I will get them, but this is wha to doI have a 1G Eclipse so there may be small diferences such as wire color or layout.)
1. Gather material. You will need: Female blade connector, 1/4" size; wire of appropriate size; wire cutters and crimpers; butt connectors; a fitting to connect the power wire to the battery, I used a ring terminal; a way to put a fuse on the power wire from the battery, I used an inline tube style fuse holder that I had laying around from a trailer connector install but you can buy whatever style you want, maybe a blade style that people use for stereo systems, my kit said to used a 16 amp fuse; and, of course, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
2. Figure out where to mount the relay. Try to use an existing bolt/screw hole.
3. Figure out where to mount your Hella horns. You could mount them where the stock horns were but I like to mount them where the sound will not be blocked by the body work. I mounted mine just behind where the fog lights used to be.
4. Do not conect anything to the battery until the very end! Run you power battery from the relay pin-87 to the Hella horns. Run a ground wire from the horns to a proper ground location, I used the mounting hole/bolt of the horns. Used the appropriate connectors as needed.
5. Cut the wires from the factory horns. You only need the positive and negative lead from one horn to go to the relay. Run the positive wire from the factory horn to pin 86 of the relay and the negative to pin 85. This circuit is what controls the relay to allow current to the Hella horns. Again, use the appropriate connectors.
6.Finallly, connect you battery power to pin 30 of the relay.
7. Give it a honk to see if it works.

That was not supposed to be a frown in my previous post. It was a period then a parentheses. ignore.

ONE MORE THING: You need to splice the two power wire going to the horn before you connect them to the relay. That should have become obvious but I just wanted to avoid any confusion.

I had Supertones...you dont even need the relay. There are two prongs on the back of the horn...hook the power wire from your stock horn to one of the prongs and ground the other. Doesnt matter which side power and ground goes on. That simple...no need for the relay because the stock horn relay will suffice.

They are on my other car, which I have had it hooked up that way for 3 years without a single issue. Theres a bracket on the back of the supertones, just take out your old horns and use that space to bolt the new horn to...put the power from the stock horn onto one of the prongs for the new horn, then just run a ground wire to a bolt on the hood latch or wherever you want.

The install is pretty straight forward though....its a two wire install and one of the wires is already there (12v wire)

If you don't use the relay then the horns will not reach their full volume! They will work but not to their potential. Wire in the relay allows you to bypass the factory restriction on voltage and amperage. Its worth it.

Right away, sire

Hella Supertones have two wires, positive and negative. Positive goes into the FACTORY HARNESS and negative runs to ground.

Here you are:
NO need for relay, just the Horns and (4) wires you make - (2) for Positive leads, (2) for Negative leads. I recommend soldering the positive leads to the OEM harness wires -hope this makes sense.

Any reason why you have t-bolt clamps on your intake?

Because race car. i'm running 40psi nad i don't want to blow the air filter off. and the horns added 10hp. whatever, the horns where a gift, because the o.e. one stoped working, and the t-bolt clamps i had extra one laying around so why not. and the horns are by far much louder. so "beep beep motherf*cker"
