hey guys so ive done the necessary searching and havent really found the right answer, i recently put in a new fmic and piping. i had my mbc hooked up from the jpipe port and the wastegate. now my new piping does not have a port on the jpipe. i know i need a boost source so where would I go. Tb? intake manifold?, add a port? Thanks for the help.

The exhaust shop near my way welded the port on for free. Just go in there and say...hey you guys did an exhaust for me a couple years ago...I was wondering if you could weld this vacuum fitting on this pipe. Most likely they will, and either for real cheap or a free like mine LOL)

Custom gsx, I'm in the same boat you are in. I just order my fmic kit from vrsf, should be here soon. And I'm not sure how I'm going to run my hallman mbc either. I guess I'll have to tap the new j pipe that I just purchase with vrsf, Oh well.

So I talked with the local performance shop I've gotten to know and they said just run the boost source from the intake manifold. They have never had any change of boost control with an extra foot and a half of hose. So I removed my crank case vent from the valve cover to manifold and I'm going to use that port since I routed the crank case vent to a catch can.

If you ordered the j pipe from vrsf it should already have a bung on it, at least mine did.

Yes, vrsf j-pipe does have a bung. But the j-pipe does not fit well. To much of a U bent, can't screw one of the bolt in. I'll try again tomorrow. Btw, if you guys any any advice, don't be shy to share, need help. It's the bolt under the j-pipe towards the radiator.
Thanks

This is what I did! For a simple weld like that, at most you should be charged is 10 dollars. Just try to go in when they don't look very busy.
