Ive notice this summer on the cool mornings that the car is faster and more responsive. Also when i just start driving the car it is more responsive but as it warms up it becomes less responsive. What would cause this?

could be a boost or vacuum leak man check throttle body area, maybe egr an boost lines depending whats done to your car. Im having the same issues u delayed throttle response an i know i need an egr block off plate an an maybe a new throttle body gasket.

it might be the throttle gasket. its nt for now. i put an egr block off plate on it which i know is sealed. how could i check for leaks?

I put the new gasket on. it did help but is there anything else I should check for while we are talking about this?

Could be a possible electrical issue with a failing sensor. Heat goes up so does resistance.
Everyone keeps saying its a boost leak, but your car is a Non-turbo..... :).

Also your car is MAP based not MAF, so a Intake leak will not effect your car like it would a 4g63 car.
