Well, its my first complete GVR4 build and I wana do it right. So I spent months and months searching for a good clean galant vr4 shell. This particular car called out to me.

This is Day one the trip home / What I am working with.

250 miles later.....

Over all no rust on this frame minus one spot under drivers door there is some surface rust underneath it but other then that I think I made out pretty well. Once I get it home I ll start tear down I cant wait.

Update as of 8/12/2012 Today I got her all the way home I started taging and baging the wireharness in the engine bay. I cleaned the engine bay as well as wire brushed some areas. This is the before picture. Going to start removing the other lines tomorrow so i can start sanding.

This is After removing the wire harness. The one crappy thing about buying a shell is sometimes they dont lable everything but thanks to a guide I found it was simple enough to figure out what was what.

Nice man, i hate to tell you but there is one just like that ! at the local pull and pay=( i got the tranny and t-case and ECU though. Glad to see you saved one. GOOD LUCK with the build man

congrats on the save! first things first, do not refer to these cars as DSM's! Its a stupid pet peev of mine and many others that are die hard GVR4 enthusiasts. I dont want to sound like an SRT4 owner here but come on. ;)
Also, if you ever need help, PM me. Im in WI as well and have some parts still from my last GVR4 build and a can share some guidance if needed.

best of luck,

Cullen
