Now, I have a bit of a dilemma. Save, tear down, rebuild w/ perf. parts? Or, just preventative maintenance with some bolt-ons?

What yall think?

I'd do routine up-keep and add a couple bolt-ons to start. See how you like it after awhile and progress from there. You can start out with a couple things here and there that won't hurt the wallet very much, and depending on your tastes for power, then you'll have the 'cheap' problem that can't support the "cheap, fast, reliable" theory.

All in all, within atleast a max of a 2-3yr spread, looking to reach 400-425whp. Not looking to build an all out dragster. More of a some show, way more go, with reliability & handling type car. With that being said, before the end of this year I'd like to be at about 275whp without having to worry about the motor a whole heck of a lot or it putting me in some "nasty" money binds.
