Just fyi, dont use em. Broke mine in nice and easy, flywheel was stepped and machined. I just got a good tune at 23psi on my setup(current in profile) so you can speculate on the hp numbers im making. I dont know but i would think im north of 300whp for sure. Took it out after mafcomps last night and did one great 3rd gear pull, it spun tires around 70mph. That was the good part.
After leaving my friends i started a new capture in link and did another pull..... bad news. It slipped. I could smell it. Did one more for research purposes
, today and it slipped again. Car is getting parked til new clutch comes in. edit:
clutch had about 1k miles on it. no beating on it til after 500 miles had passed
Ok, this is not a DD its a sunday car or a car i hop in to go to the gym 10 miles away. Itll get maybe 5k miles a year. Im thinking of a competition clutch stage 4 or 5. I dont care how "unstreetable" it is as i dont live in a city. I dont do a bunch of stop n go and even if i do i want a clutch that can handle 500whp if the day comes where i want to make that. Im surely going to see 400whp on pump with my setup and it buckled already at only 23psi. The 5858 can do alot more than 23psi.
So any suggestions?
Does flywheel need resurfacing? It only slipped a total of 2 times. Do i need to have it stepped for a different clutch? Flywheel was worked at the same time so it too has only 1k miles on it.
